The San Francisco Bay Area had bad air quality last week (now gone thanks to the high winds this weekend) thanks to a persistent inversion layer. But the result was a mystical quality in the hills at Diablo Foothills Regional Park.

Since the election, hiking in and around Santa Cruz County has kept me grounded.
