How did I miss this! I'm in for 2026! This except for years instead of days -> www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib...
Snowflake Temperature blanket pattern by Kaye Adolphson
These are basic instructions for a hexagon motif to use specifically for a temperature blanket although it could be used for a normal blanket as well.

I've been meaning to do a temperature blanket for a long time but I didn't want to do a straight stitch. This pattern is perfect!

I'll do a climate rather than a weather pattern using a hexagon for each yr showyourstripes.info

@colleeniversen.bsky.social this will be my @agu.org project for 2026!

Like being a scientist and watching top gun 🤢

Those are already on the list - a good example of #2 and #6 above!

Haha thank you!

Here is the original post:
I am a climate scientist and this is correct ⬇️
Occasional reminder that there’s no, “it’s too late, its over” for anthropogenic climate change. Every molecule of CO2 that doesn’t go into the atmosphere makes a difference. Preventing 0.1 degree of warming makes a difference. Every bit of climate resilience we build together makes a difference.

That is what my latest video is about.
Pulling climate data offline, canceling research grants, and de-funding scientific institutions doesn't just suppress climate information. It weakens the foundation we rely on to make good decisions of any kind.

In my latest "Tea with Katharine" I share why investment in science is so important!

And my free newsletter has a “what you can do” section every week!
Are we really doomed?
Is it too late to do anything about climate change?

And if you’re thinking, “I’m just one person, what difference can I make?” my pinned post has you covered:
I’m a scientist who studies how climate change impacts our lives and the places we love.

Most of us are worried, but many feel stuck on what to do. If that's the way you feel, check out this list below!

We can’t fix it alone, but I know we can together. 💚

I would definitely be grazing them sustainably and feed them probiotics to reduce their belching 😄🐐🐑

I loved this work back in the day and it makes me so happy that now my son is analyzing JWST images himself. I want him to be able to do that for the rest of his life + not have to worry about climate change. That’s why I keep going. Because I know we can do this: but never alone, only together 💪🏻
