The rule breaking, hoarding, and selling is obviously unfortunate, although I'm not sure if it's any more common than any other year, or if we're just hearing about it more now with the shift in social platforms. I'm not sure what's wrong with someone finding an orb every year?

Oh I forgot about the State Park, I was referring to the smaller park & pier. I've checked there a few times over the years but never any luck. The signs all say Metro Parks Tacoma though so I figured it could be fair game.

I wondered the same about Dash Point park. It was always Federal Way-ish to me, but the sign says it's part of Tacoma Parks. Boundary map of Tacoma excludes BP & DP but maybe there's some grey area. Like Ruston. If it's good enough for glass hiders it's good enough for me, lol.

I can't believe it took me so long to check the eyes. He's been my ride-along buddy for shining, found him & never brought him in the house until today. I guess I was distracted & laser-focused on hiding, and of course, seeking. 😅

Absolutely that & all of the above! Twice now I've found Monkeyshines medallions in April while looking for DBT glass; one seemed long-hidden, one was definitely fresh/possible rehide. Once I saw someone post they found one in October! Always have hope, and in the meantime, have fun.
