Deep fried turkey for dinner. 10/10. No fire or death. It tasted delicious.

The turkey is the beautiful gold of deep fried and is stood on its end on a silver platter A half empty plastic bottle of frying oil and a small fire extinguisher stood on a low wall in a garden A vat of bubbling oil which is dark brown and just the end of a turkey can be seen poking out of the top. There is a thermometer sticking out of the oil. The vat is stood on a black stand on top of paving stones.

It's been / is being a very stressful week but I got a lovely two hours of escape today chatting to students at Swansea Uni about parliament and the judiciary. Fair to say Swansea has put its best foot forward in terms of the weather.

Went to Crossness Pumping Station today and it was very fun! We used so many different types of transport to get there (including a narrow gauge railway) and it's a proper bonkers bit of Victorian engineering as art. I'd well recommend a visit if you can. #London

Findsssss. Big shout out to Thames Explorer Trust for making what could have been a miserable two hour son the foreshore very fun!
