When I was doing my decs yesterday, I went to look at photos from last year to see how I had done my mantelpiece and it threw all the last pictures I have of my Hank and it made me sad. Looking back I think he looks sad and tired , but that might be projection/guilt. He went so suddenly 💔💙

I got some fantastic gifts last week for my birthday . An LED face mask, a kindle colour, books, some vintage bookends, Amazon vouchers, skincare, crocs slippers, flowers, and this gorgeous set of shower foams. I have been very spoiled this year and feel incredibly grateful 💫💕🍷

Making the most of this last of 13 lovely days off before it’s back to the day grind. I have feet up, twinkles on, book open, a nice soothing asmr room in the background. Chicken stew on the menu tonight with stock made from yesterdays roast, and a nice crusty loaf 💕💫🍷

Bonus day off today, so spent it recharging my batteries. Marv has a poorly toe bean,touched the sandwich toaster when it was on, he is a bit sorry for himself. We are off to vets tomorrow anyway, so will get them to check (I soaked it in cold water and can’t see anything, but he is holding it up) 🐾
