Somehow we can spend $20 billion to bail out Argentina with a currency swap, but we don't have the money to save our local hospitals?

We deserve a fierce advocate in Congress who knows that our healthcare isn't a bargaining chip or budget line-item, it's our survival.

I'm standing up for my brother and the rest of our military. As current Senator Mark Kelly has made clear, they deserve better than this anguish. They deserve better than the stain on their souls that carrying out these unlawful orders creates. 6/

French continued, "When the decision rests with the president alone, it puts members of the military in the position of trusting the judgment of a person who may not deserve that trust. I have heard from several anguished members of the active duty military. They feel real moral doubt..." 5/

Legal scholar John Yoo, most famous for defending the Bush administration's use of torture, said that the White House has not provided evidence for these attacks, and that "a broad, amorphous military campaign against the illegal drug trade... would violate American law and the Constitution." 3/

The legal community has been nearly unanimous that this is unlawful. The New York Bar Association said, "Because the recent attacks on Venezuelan vessels and their crews were unauthorized by U.S. law and in violation of binding international law, they were illegal summary executions – murders." 2/
