Yesterday, @britishacademy.bsky.social hosted ECRs at @vadundee.bsky.social. It was wonderful to learn about the Academy's work, share insights with peers, and connect over our passion for research. The breadth of work done across Scotland is remarkable, and I'm grateful to be part of the community.

I do genuinely believe in quantitative and qualitative approaches to political science and am a strong advocate of mixed methods. That said, I've just used the magick package in R to make this novelty hat and am now accepting nominations for "least helpful contribution to methods discourse".
