I had a friend on here showing off her Christmas tree yesterday, with a plea to us haters to allow people to be happy. I mean, fine, do your tree if that's what makes you happy. But keep it private - you don't have to post about it here or other spaces where people aren't ready for it yet.

I don't have a birthday between those dates, but would fully endorse this campaign (as long as we can still have our London Halloween street skate on the Saturday afternoon before the actual day).

I have friends who have migrated from Labour to Green, quite understandably so. *Those* are the people Labour should be fighting to win back, not Reform voters.

That was really interesting, I've often wondered how gendered languages deal with all this. We've been quite good at gender neutralising many terms in English (e.g. fire fighter, police officer). Old habits die hard though, and I love that my 15yo corrects me when I slip-up!

I feel this so hard.

I had both together and felt like I'd been punched in the biceps for a day or so. I got a "cold" a couple of days later, but it may just have been a cold! It was mild and didn't last long.

My OH takes on most of the shopping and cooking responsibilities, but we have similar issues with there being so few meals all three of us will eat.
