Yes! I am doing an online book club this week and I was just thinking I should reread the ending because I rewrote it a few times and I'm fuzzy now on the chain of events. And that's for Tapestry, my latest publication! But I've written 3 novels since.

I've had that question a couple of times and I always struggle to come up with a non-prickly way to say "I don't know, you tell me?" The novel is just what's on the page, after all. But I usually segue it to talking about why I made a given choice or something.

One of the things I liked about writing Assassin's Creed IP is the stuff I wrote for book 1 went into the fan wiki, which was super helpful for book 2.

One time someone came up to me and asked me to explain Chapter 10 in my first book (which I wrote in 2013) and I just stared at them like, I do not have the events of all my books memorized by chapter number, sorry! Maybe some writers do but not me!
