It’s Watership Down here on the farm. Seen in these tracks: bunnies, deer (of course), feral cat. I’ve seen the resident muskrat and mink on the pond, but didn’t get a pic. Also: the starlings who live in the wall of my cottage have been extra talkative the last couple of nights.

Omg let me OUT. Following no bending/lifting/twisting post op restrictions means new feels in the face of 50” of snow over 4 days … Rant over.

Snow belt rural life … grateful for furnace, gas well on the property, the man who plowed my drive after 3 days of “forgetting?” I’m on his list, landlord who reminded him, and elec co-op. 1-2 more feet of snow predicted beginning this evening.

I can absolutely walk like a 🐧. On it.

Now I’m watching for turkeys to play with the deer in my yard … (said turkeys in yard shown)… and will get nothing else done today.
