Job update time! Today was my first day as Larian Studios' new Storytelling Lead! It's wild to be back in an office fulltime for the first time in more than a decade -- and in another country to boot -- but it's wonderful to find community so far from home.

Nintenkats will be on hiatus while I work out the direction I want to take it. I want to say a genuine thank you for your support of this project. It's brought me a lot of joy to get back to my roots in blogging about Nintendo.

Big announcement from me! On October 8 I will be moving to the UK for a new opportunity that will take me out of the media (but I'll still be in the games industry).

Starting the process of paring down my collection. A lot of amazing memories in here including the launch copy of Pokemon Pearl I got in Japan in 2006 🫡 So many hours of joy. I hope they bring someone else equal happiness
