Yes, Cate was spectacular as Elizabeth, she always is & deserved that Oscar. I never watched SIL again & agree, how could it stand up, it wasn’t interesting.
My vote, in addition? The Thin Red Line was better than Saving Private Ryan, tho a bit esoteric. Both great!
