If a customer is abusing you, as a worker you are supposed to ask them to leave the store and if they refuse, find a manager. Not engage in a fight with them.

Words like that don't slip out of your brain in the heat of the moment unless it's part of your regular vocabulary. ANY profanity directed at a customer has always been a fireable offense in every business I've worked in.

A friend of mine disconnected immediately after beating the floor 180 boss on a solo run and she never had the stomach to go back into PotD again after that.

This is WHAT ALREADY HAPPENS! Not just with Medicaid/Medicare, but with EVERY insurance plan. In network one day, out the next. Covered one visit, not covered the next. Sometimes one part of the visit is covered, but because one doctor is OON, you get billed an extra thousand.

I'll be copying over exactly what I have with the Desperius Clean UI command panels right now - my crafting macro list, my emotes, and my battle macros (like my countdown and my sheepish macro for "It was me" when I screw up in Savage.)

Boring old Arial for every day things. Georgia when we want to be fancy.

Right now my portion of insurance is $200/month and my employer is paying another $1200 on top of that. Any tax increase that is less than $1400/month but takes away those two things via a single payer model would be a net paycheck increase for me.

I think data centers would benefit from being deep underground in seismically stable locations, but the risk of flooding is too much for those in most places, I suspect.

This one day after a story came onto my phone about Google AI deleting someone's entire D drive during a vibe coding session.

I mean, if I want to work off the overpriced burger I bought in the airport, I'm going to skip the Plane Train in Hartsfield and walk the mile underground in the tunnels and enjoy the secret art gallery down there.

Was about to say, my hysterectomy was performed by a surgeon using a Da Vinci.

Kirby Smart is the best active coach in CFB. This is not the same as the best coach of 2025, which can only be Cignetti.

We looked into going to a world cup game, ANY game, because Atlanta is one of the host cities.

the tickets start at $1500.

we are no longer interested in going to the world cup, and everything that happened in the last 24 hours has cemented that decision.

Cool. Does this mean that trucks will stop being 10 feet tall to skirt around the regulations as well?

Surprised Vegas hasn't realized they lost the monopoly on gambling to the sports betting apps. People don't need to travel to Vegas during football season, they can waste their money from their living room couch. I would support a Vegas crackdown on the sports betting industry, too.

They're terrified he'll cut off access. But he's not saying anything true or worth listening to, so maybe they should decide en masse to simply not bother.
