Just because prisons & jails CAN increase rates under these new rules doesn’t mean they SHOULD.

Protecting family contact is good for incarcerated people, loved ones & prisons/jails.

Increasing phone rates will cost not just dollars and cents.

It'd be cool if people could get their own house in order before they villanize others. Its a shame people don't want to do actual self reflection.

Join or form a mutual aid network, a harm reduction org, a tenant union, a community care group, a rapid response team or something similar.

There's no one way to tally all of the abductions that haven't occurred because y'all were out there with whistles around your necks, making it clear that a particular corner or block or business would not fall prey to a quiet sneak attack.
