I remember I got into an argument with someone about wanting cheap, quick healthy meal options like how other countries have canteens and they jumped on my ass and said wow u probably stuff your ass with McDonald's like bitch I CANT EAT AT MCDONALDS THATS THE PROBLEM. Also that shit is expensive.

Its the only thing that gets a ton of people in the door ig, food is only seen as of value if it has meat, otherwise its not "worth it" to buy. Meanwhile I just want some vegetables on bread at a sandwich shop and thats pulling teeth

Its def not a true issue I just think they need to learn what it means to make what most of us make. Incentive to make sure its a living wage (and also they dont nearly do enough to warrant 170k+ lmfao ). I think years of good service should be the determining factor for raising that amount.
