Conclusion: The link between regulatory fit (or this manipulation) and moral behavior isn’t as robust as previously thought. Time for more scrutiny. 🔍

In a project with @kascigala.bsky.social and @stepf.bsky.social , we tested this in three well-powered studies (N = 3,150), using the same manipulations and moral behavior measures as Achar & Lee. So… did it hold up?

Across three studies (N = 3,150) we did not manage to replicate the effect.
