In my previous org we used Redis Stream as a Write buffer for database. So the usual flow is after we write the data we keep the processedID as minID in XTRIM.

So this would cause a GC pause and reconstruct the Radix tree during the XTRIM?

Same. People even work while listening to music, I usually put on noise cancelling headphones and dont play anything

Instead of leetcode I suggest you to do Advent of Code problems in Zig. And maybe try to make parser combinator while at it.

I did this to learn Go it was a pleasant experience ngl

UUIDv7 is sorted by timestamp and is very suitable for primary key. Using a random UUID as a primary key is really a terrible idea

Typst has a support for html generation. Very early stage but it works.
January 7, 2026 at 6:33 PM

Better one would be building a runtime yourself with tokio::mio and write a blog about it

Pretty cool preject, although It feels nightmarish for production systems since it skips the entire epbf verification and does not protect against arbitrary data
