Waiting patiently for another bite of Thanksgiving breakfast cinnamon rolls.

I'll have to do it over. I made a mistake in the lattice. 🙄

We had family visiting for 5 days in August, all cat lovers. Molly disappeared for the whole week, barely ate a bite and now my husband says we can't have visitors anymore because CAT. We finally found her above the oven cabinet.

Aw, thanks, but that first day, we called her a ratbag! She was so disheveled and had a cut on her lip. To this day, she refuses to put one foot outside.

Seven years ago this weekend, this little ratbag showed up at our door and refused to leave. Love this girl, Molly. #Caturday

We still have butter cake and banana bread here, so as much as I'd like to bake, I'll hold off. Plus, I had a rough night.

Someone was up at 5am on a #Caturday.

My "three amigos". Baldcypress trees I bought for $18 apiece at the arboretum plant sale and planted near the catchment pond in 2008. They were 2-ft tall. 🌱

My stepdaughter sends these to me from time to time and they get funnier all the time.

Sometimes I make up words and they turn out to be goats. 🤯

I want to see a photo of that meeting, staged like this one, with Karoline Leavitt as Hillary.

Self-care, because I just can't right now.

My favorite red oak, planted from a friend's sprouted acorn in 2009.

No surgery for this girl tomorrow. The pingpong ball mass on her back is benign. She isn't bothered by it. So why put her through a rough day, then wound recovery, just because her humans (dad mostly) think it's oogy? So we're embracing the lump and saving $550. WHAT WERE WE THINKING?
November 6, 2025 at 2:28 AM
Karma modeling a T-shirt we got her to protect her back after her upcoming lump surgery. It's not a dangerous lump, but it's the size of a golf ball in the center of her back and it's very oogy. Not a major procedure.

Cold dreary day. Husband out of the country. Fire going, cat in lap, sweet potatoes roasting in oven.

"IT" from 2017 on HBO. I've read the book, have seen the first movie, but this one is TERRIFYING.

Silly cat.

This rendering from the architect is vastly different from that image.
