I don't object to personal boycotts. Virtue signaling is generally good actually. I just don't think failing to boycott absent a clear, well organized collective action is a meaningful criticism of others.

We need good people in the military but they'll absolutely be putting themselves in danger and it won't just go away with one election. I don't know how to ask that of people.

I block the calls from Vitalant now. If there's a drive at work or church and it's been enough time, I go. The times I've answered, the next drive I can go to is either at work or church anyway. I still have to delete voicemails every couple weeks though.

Getting out of the army was hard. I found a board game club but it stopped when the game shop opened and usually it's just Magic there so I hardly go anymore.
Church is my lifeline and where I have most of my friends. But it's nothing like college or the army.
