This inspired me to write a teens-on-bikes Stranger Things parody. (Still unfinished, wah!)

Some of them are from childhood memories where I take them out of context and make them fit into my comics. Others are "personality types" I desire that I then make characters out of. Like, Roleplaying Buddies is very much based on my D&D group from when I was 14, for example.

This actually stopped me cold. While I have also thought these things, NO ONE puts them into words as well as you do. I mean, my breath caught as I read this. Your (self-)understanding of this is absolutely microscopically laser-focussed. You're amazing; thank you for putting this into words.
