The sector needs to stop, listen, and engage… forcing chn into schools that cannot support their needs, or worse, place them in a constant state of stress, is immoral. We are punishing chn and families for struggling within a system that was not built for them.

Not new news to those involved in education/CYP health & wellbeing, but a sobering reminder of the task ahead. Has to be a multi agency approach - education alone shouldn’t be asked to solve all society’s ills. But it should be inclusive and adaptable.
