I think grocery prices are going to skyrocket this winter and it will be hard to find fresh produce. So many places around the world had bad harvests. So freeze, dehydrate, can and salt is my motto right now. And I am lucky. I am surrounded by farmers. Today, making tomato sauce. Tomorrow peaches.

My garden by the water has been dug up so many times by animals. I planted over 100 garlic bulbs and have only got 5 garlic scapes! #gardeningfailure #Ontario

A cloudy, damp day. Time for baking and using up oranges and peaches. And yogurt. Two yogurt cakes. Plain with sliced peaches and crystallized orange peel has a slice put of it, while the orange yogurt cake with peaches on top cools.
