My high schoolers are reading 1984 so I gamefied it by making half resistance and half thought police. Then I had the freshman start a misinformation campaign that they are going to spread to the rest of the high school to confuse and stress out the seniors. There are no winners.

Anybody on here do dreams? I keep waking up in the middle of the night, heart racing, because I thought the phone rang or there was a knock on the front door. It keeps happening. What does it mean?

My son just called his hot cocoa "hot coke" and that may be the most horrifying thing one of my kids has ever said.

Woke up with a racing heart and a nightmare at 3am. So I'm working on unraveling a plot snarl and if magic could be passed from a person to an inanimate vessel, what would be able to store raw magic? Bonus points for folklore-based answers.

Can we play a game? My brain is fried. I need a word that rhymes with mechanic that means "something to do with words." Like "organic mechanic" from Fury Road. Or any synonym variation for either word, as long as the two words rhyme. TIA! 😘

At this point I think I've been sick long enough that a Victorian doctor would tell my husband to move our family to the seaside. Or maybe to a warmer climate. That would be cool.
