Went “out out” on Saturday night. I had a couple of drinks early on then didn’t feel like any more, so I pretended to have my usual gin and tonics after that, but just turned to water. Pondering this now, and realising there’s a massive pressure to drink socially during the party season. . .

I’ve watched the hard hitting Netflix film, Buy Now! I totally agree with @martinlewis.moneysavingexpert.com about not buying unnecessary Christmas presents, so what went wrong? This is the pile of presents in my spare room and it’s still only November! Huge note to self . . . STOP IT!!!

Life seems to be a never-ending list of questions to answer; even what kind of tea should you be drinking! Please let’s keep tea as the simple solution to every other problem - no need to make that yet another thing to have to decide.
