I never saw E.T as a kid because I was scared. Watching it now I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND WHY! The entire first 15 minutes are shot like a horror movie! The fact that he kinda looks like a rotting corpse does not help

In light of Silent Hill 2 Remake turning out to be a fantastic game I have to give a shoutout to the Silent Hill movie (2006) and their dedication to not using CGI monsters. I couldn't believe "the Armless Man" was totally practical!
Not the best movie or game adaptation but a classic for me
