Sometimes I'm a little snarky. Most of the time I just want people to be good humans.
Banks are not going to underwrite massive loans unless they can get money back. The optics alone creates huge reputational risks for the banks.

Nixon believed in the EPA - and had the grace to resign. Don- only looking out for Don, the legacy of destruction.

No one in the current administration believes in science-y things. They have actively chosen to ignore medical science.

Alternate real headline: No one can afford anything for the holiday season.

Note to @forbes.com: It's not pulling back; people have rent and food to pay for, and not a lot extra to do anything else.

Everyone from DOGE has to go.

Another frivolous lawsuit kicked to the curb. When does "vexatious litigant" status get activated? Asking for...everyone.

Can he lead => no. People deserve real science-centric people leading public health policy; at the very least, someone who cares.

What benefits did this group do for the people in the US? Where is the accountability?
November 24, 2025 at 5:17 AM
@theatlantic.com What a weird headline - you probably should consider: Don is destroying fundamental gov't infrastructures for personal gain.

Then he can pay Jean Carroll what she is owed.

We need to give Ukraine support and not have a person who has zero diplomacy skills to intervene.

Is there a way to see how may of the X users are bots?
November 22, 2025 at 7:28 PM
No one signed up for dictatorships in the US - we deserve better leadership than someone on a revenge and retribution model.
November 22, 2025 at 5:18 PM
Don needs to support Ukraine or step aside on "helping".
November 22, 2025 at 5:16 PM
It's been happening for a long time - media has been crickets on this, and today @theatlantic.com decided this what they want to headline with. 🤷‍♀️
November 22, 2025 at 3:16 AM
these are just plain wacky times
November 22, 2025 at 3:05 AM
Definitely curious why did MTG request a presidential pardon in 2022 from Don?
November 22, 2025 at 2:34 AM
Sending goon squads at the direction of a president into US cities for kidnapping is also unacceptable.

Check causes on Great Depression of 1929: Many people blamed the crash on commercial banks eagerly placed deposits at risk on the stock market + poor gov't decisions. Same story, the wealthy will benefits from the misery that ensues.

junk bond/S&L crisis - 1989/1990; dot-com bust - 1999/2000; global financial crisis (aka Great Recession) - 2007-2009; Covid Pandemic - 2020.
Each of these events triggered massive events of activity.
Banks ramp up the risk because removing the protections will make more $$$ with less oversight.
November 21, 2025 at 6:14 AM
Ruining the lives of everyone because they can. I want qualified people governing our public health policy.
November 21, 2025 at 3:06 AM
@petebuttigieg.bsky.social You are so very missed.
November 21, 2025 at 3:04 AM
Taking away the travel protections is a feature, not a bug, for the current administration. Travellers also would rather not have flight cancellations due to a shortage of air traffic controllers brought on by non-funding of services. 1950s dressing is not coming back.

[long digital evidence trail for ICJ and/or ICC]
November 21, 2025 at 1:58 AM
Why would the IOC (International Olympic Committee) want to keep the 2028 games in the US (it's slated for Los Angeles) with this being ok plus having goon squads everywhere? This applies to every international sports event that may be hosted in the US (e.g. FIFA).

This is beyond sad.
