for a year or so, once Shallow Sleep is done.
working on one thing all by myself for years is just not what I'm built for, I need to switch things up a little bit. I'd love to do short stories instead for a while before I'm able to commit to another multi year project. 🙏

to the point that I'm so paralysed by what i should be doing that i never feel like i can allow myself to enjoy drawing anything anymore.
i still desperately want to tell the stories I've been working on behind the scenes, but i think I'm gonna need an extended break from this type of work

looking back at 2025 in particular I've had so much fun doing the occasional commission, drawing stream doodles, drawing emotes, working on drafts & outlines for other story projects, even getting back into fanart a bit. i LOVE drawing so much but the 💀comic duties💀 are always looming over me
