Easily distracted, though, by the scary politics around me in 🇨🇦 🇺🇸
Thank-you for correcting me and for the clarification. Does it sound like the gov signed the MOU, gave some environmental carve outs to oil and gas and now Alberta must deal with BC and the First Nations? No real project yet, no private proponent yet, just tension, frustration and politics

He got Eby to agree with ⬆️ the capacity of the existing/ newly twinned TMX pipeline, dredge the Harbour and ⬆️ tanker traffic, the hydro transmission lines into Northern BC and increased mining and become a champion for LNG. That is something for the NDP

I have a few RN friends who have been wintering in El Centro for years and years. A couple have their California licenses and used to work casual at a hosp there. I wonder if the El Centro Hosp that received an F is the one they worked at? Shared your article with them.

Several charge nurses, especially on nights, where I last worked, had less than a year of nursing experience. No mentors really and very few "old ones" with more than 15 yrs under our belts. Many excellent, bright, young nurses, but poor support from admin and the system. COVID exposed the lacking

Very sad read. Even in Canada, I witnessed nursing standards of care and infection control deteriorate over my 40 yrs as an RN. Not sure of the cause..no more "head nurse" making rounds a few times a shift, no more team nursing, ⬆️ pt/ RN ratios? Less clinical time in training? Miss the old days

That's disheartening. It's so easy to compost and separate waste. I must admit I used to throw everything in the one bin. My parents always had an old bathtub in the garage with worms that ate almost everything. Free garden soil! My son now has their colony that's been going strong for decades.

Waking up in darkness is actually supposed to be best for us and it helps align our circadian rhythm for the day, increases creativity and mood. In Hinduism, this is called Brahma Murhtha "the creative hour"

I pass a man on my daily walks I call the Birdman. His pockets are filled with wild bird seed. He stops every now and then, pours some seed on the ground and continues on. It's amazing to see all the crows, magpies, ducks and geese who follow him.

My cat has been sitting on the stairs and crying for me to come to bed for over ½ an hour. I'm calling it a day as well. Sleep well

I had a Sanyo 8 track record deck in the late 70's and bought the blanks from Radio Shack. HS boyfriend's car only had an 8 track stereo. Those were the days! Thanks for this trip down memory lane. 🎶
