In fairness the first one is about fighting Mr Negative until suddenly Doc Ock is the main villain. The shift is admittedly later in the game but seems par for the course.

Idk if it’s my more casual fan nature (and also zero connection to G1) but he just looks like a combiner to me? Like I don’t understand the complaints or honestly even what people see that’s different from the other recent ones.
