The other thing that gets me about post-youtube games discourse is that LV and Flowey are conscious meditations on the turn-based videogame RPG as a medium in the same way as Moon Remix Adventure and yet I kind of feel like modern utdr discussion doesn't talk about that as much?
mara ‪@maraganger.bsky.social‬ the whole "don't play the game, just watch a video on youtube that will explain its story to you" is so disheartening because the issue of accessibility is genuinely really important but it's always just people who want to be spoon-fed nicely quantifiable information.
