I know you said on Tumblr, but AO3 has a pretty awesome and robust kinkmeme/fill structure (though obviously it's geared more towards writers)

Anyways, Kaito is smug one day when he leaves the door unlocked but Shinichi doesn't make a run for it. Just curls up beside Kaito's bed on the floor. (And maybe when Kaito asks why he didn't join him in bed, Shinichi just shakes his head and says he's too bad/filthy for that)

Oooh, Kaito accusing Shinichi of being unfaithful/a whore because he let all these strangers sleep with him after they broke up. Despite the fact Shinichi was just honey potting them

What Kaito hears: You never meant anything to me and never will.
Meanwhile, Shinichi is happy to get to see Kaito again. Hates when Kaito isn't paying attention to him (even when the attention hurts, as it often does)

Also 😈 if they had a joint calendar on their phones and Shinichi puts his meeting with the lawyer for his will in the joint calendar, Kaito assumes Shinichi wasted no time in getting his name off everything.

And a will! After the breakup, Shinichi makes sure his life insurance and such still goes to Kaito. Possibly rewrites it to a 50/50 split if Kaito has kids. (Shinichi is petty enough to purposefully leave out any partner Kaito may acquire.) But of course, Shinichi doesn't tell Kaito any of this

Also fun to think about the fact that they probably have joint bank accounts and credit cards. Shinichi wouldn't remove Kaito from those (because if there's an emergency, Shinichi cares more about Kaito then his bank balance) but Kaito presumes he's been removed from everything

Starts being reckless by inviting potential killers back to his room (so he can gather evidence). Not bothering to go to a clinic when injured. All things he can rationalize to himself! He was just working a case! He just needed a drink to sleep! No need to take medical care from those who need it.
