Well, you got some good answers in the responses, but if I might chip in, it might be just fatigue with investing into (re)building a virtual network over and over again on different platforms when you know that inevitably this one will also be sold and push sponsored content, enforce censorship etc

What I think is quite problematic here is the lack of transparency. Don’t get me even started on the topic of working with classified or sensitive materials in the *private* Transkribus space just to find out that at the end of the day it’s not private.
