85 years ago today. The Coventry Blitz. A terrifying night of loss and destruction. And what followed, a legacy of peace and reconciliation. It really is extraordinary. I am proud to be from this city.

9/11 will never not be a sad date but every year my reason for that seems to take on something new. For those who went in that morning but never came out and for those who tried to save them. Memory eternal.

These windows were rather extraordinary! Style attributed to the Hungarian artist, Ervin Bossanyi, who created the windows in the 1950s. The similarity with Disney arises because Bossanyi's work, especially the faces, is thought to have been by influenced Walt Disney's Snow White illustrations.
