It’s been a while since I did crewel but I always love it. With the wool threads everything goes so quickly!

Headcanon time! I have always assumed Agent Carter had some form of connection to the Manhattan Project, maybe even meeting Oppenheimer. Come read my thoughts! #AgentCarter #HeadCanon
The Manhatten Project Rebirth
So, it all started when I got a text from my mother: And then I had an idea. Head canon time. Steve Rogers gets the serum in 1943 and we know makes it to 1944. Sometime before the end of the war in 1946, his plane goes down. What we don’t know is everything Peggy does during the war, before and after Project Rebirth.

One of the things I love so much about #KpopDemonHunters is all the reactions. Watching the joy in the faces of editors, singers, products, musicians, vocal coaches and just people in general as they start to watch and feel the joy of this music is uplifting. That music has power in it.

It's rodeo season! Rodeo Harley Quinn was my first original character. She came from a genuine love of Harley Quinn and a background with a desperate love of horses. One day, I might revisit this. #RodeoQuinn #HarleyQuinn #Cosplaymaker
Rodeo Harley Quinn
This was the first Original Design I did once I got into cosplay. This is a costume I planned for quite a while and  a costume that I really am proud of. I’m not really sure how you can manage an original design and not plan for a while, but that’s another story. This one goes like this: I love Harley Quinn.

Wow I fell off the #SewForWOT bandwagon, and it is entirely because I fell hard for #KpopDemonHunters which has become the new comfort movie I didn’t know I needed in my life

Day 2 of sewing for #SaveWOT and I’m introducing myself before kicking into gear. I’ve been cosplaying for 11 years after working and studying theatre and costume design.

My primary expertise is in fibre arts and sewing, which is what excites me about #WheelOfTime costumes & makes them feel real.

So I’m doing the 30 day #SaveWOT challenge. I have been wanting to get back to my Moiraine costume since it got paused in March due to Life TM.

#WheelOfTime has been the most impactful media for me in the last few years, so this is me giving back to the show that has inspired me so much.

Gonna try to do at least some on this. Hoping it will kick start my crafting buzz again as well as highlighting the #SaveWOT campaign to bring back my beloved #WheelOfTime

This is not my normal kind of post, but it was a project that I really loved. What do you do with your scraps from cosplay? For this, I made a Peggy Carter Quilt block and tbh, I loved it. So much so that many years later I still think about it doing something to commemorate my cosplays. #Creativity
Cosplay Meets Quilting: Agent Carter Quilt Square
If you had told me that the first crazy quilt square that I would ever finish would be cosplay related, I would have laughed. Before all my hobby time was related to cosplay, I did a lot of things, but quilting was high up there in terms of what I did. I wanted to do crazy quilting, but just never found the time or the right project.

This weekend marks the anniversary of me jetting off specifically to go meet my idol, #PeggyCarter. I mean Hayley Atwell. I made this costume for that trip, and it became one of my favourite costumes to wear. #AgentCarterCosplay #CosplayMaker #CosplayBuild
Making Peggy Carter’s Promo Dress
By the time Season 2 of Agent Carter aired, I was ready for the hype of new costumes. This dress actually showed up at the end of the first episode of Season 1, but they used it for the Promo of Season 2, which is what I always associate it with. I wasn't originally going to do this dress yet, but then my roomie (the lovely DZ cosplay- go follow her!) for Starfury: The Ultimates decided to do the Dottie outfit from this promo shot.

Star Wars Rebels continues to be one of my favourite shows. I was so happy to bring Governor Pryce to life, but I was very disappointed in her portrayal in the Thrawn book. I'm still very proud of this costume and that I became the Pryce CRL model for the 501st. #StarWarsRebels #CosplayMaker
Governor Arihnda Pryce
Most of this information was originally posted on the Imperial Officer forums, but since Photobucket kicked the bucket most of the photos have disappeared. I figured you all would appreciate hearing about it anyway, so here goes. I’d been wanting another Star Wars costume for a while, one warmer than Mara Jade by preference for trooping in. I'd love to do Ahsoka, but right now I just can't afford the lightsabers and I'm not willing to do her without them.

In honour of Peggy Carter's birthday, I thought I'd put up my most iconic costume of hers, the blue suit from Season 1.

I love this costume so much. It always gives me confidence when I put it on and remains a costume I'm most proud of.

Agent Peggy Carter: The Blue Suit
It seems almost a crime that I've been re-posting this blog for so long without a single post dedicated by my Best Girl yet. So today, in honour of Walk Like Peggy Day, we're changing that. Peggy's suit is definitely one of the most distinctive pieces in her wardrobe, and no, it isn't just a blue suit off the rack, sadly.

Have you ever wondered what it's like to embroider on leather? I made the decision to try it when making Korra, and I have learned a lot and have some tips in today's blog. #leatherembroidery #embroidery #blog #leatherwork #handembroidery
Hand Embroidering On Leather
When I came up with this idea, it sounded simple, like so many do; bracers made of leather, hand embroidered with beautiful patterns in a similar color. While I have sewn leather for projects, I've never embroidered on leather before and was leery of just trying my same old tricks with it. So I researched. Unfortunately, most of what's out there on the web primarily related to machine embroidery on leather.

Wanda Maximoff is such an interesting character. I made her Age of Ultron #costume ages back, and it's one of the more sustainable cosplays I've made, with pretty much only tights bought new, everything else secondhand. It's up on the blog today!

Age of Ultron: Wanda Maximoff Cosplay
The post reflects on Kainko's Corner's journey of creating a Wanda costume, emphasizing the creative process over strict screen accuracy. They repurposed items from a charity shop and added personal jewelry with sentimental value, enhancing the connection to the character. The experience highlights the joy of cosplay and self-expression.

Blogging is something I've done for longer than I have cosplayed. When my blog disappeared last year, it was crushing, as it was a record of all the crafting I've done for over a decade. This week's post is about the project that made me start blogging. #CrossStitch #HandEmbroidery #Blogging
Tiger, Tiger Burning Bright
So this is the project that I completed that inspired me to actually create my blog originally. Its been hanging on my wall since somewhere around 2011. TIGER CROSS STITCH Its from a kit- 'Blue Eyes' from Kustom Krafts. I started it in January 2010 and finished it, by sheer determination, before the end of January 2011. I probably could have done it faster, but various stresses and classes and other projects conspired to delay it.
