Another bonus of the trip to China was being able to buy a proper tea knife (pictured with some Pu'er tea).

In my recent trip to China (for work), I did get to visit the Qin Terracotta Warriors. A very different experience to 2008, when there were no crowds. This time the gallery was packed with people, all jostling for a look at the soldiers. It's still as amazing as ever #photography #China

Juvenile tūī feeding on kōwhai flowers- while fledged, they haven't yet got their full adult plumage. They're still very boisterous.
The birds are nectivorous, and pollinate native plants. The crown of yellow pollen on the head is a giveaway! The second shot shows off the tip of the bird's tongue.

The dal is high in protein, iron, calcium, magnesium, zinc, Vitamin E and fibre.

Yes, I can get it to itemise the nutrition in the meals I eat and maintain a running total. It’s reasonably accurate as there’s a lot of published nutrition data on the web it can access.
I also have a fairly good idea of my calorie expenditure each day because of my sports watch.

The backyard catio is at the netting stage. There's posts around the backyard enclosing the garden, 2 gates (out of frame), and wire lines connecting to roof.
The overhead netting should deter escape attempts and protect the local bird population.

My largest Zeiss lens (135mm/2.8 Batis) next to my smallest (21mm 2.8 Loxia). The Loxia lens range was one of my motivations to go all in on a mirrorless camera system. They were light, compact, had excellent optics, and such superb manual focusing rings, landscape photography became easier.
