Alright after sleeping and then rewatching the video review, the pacing feels SO much better in this than the original one I'd made.

I don't know who mentioned that Seven Samurai 20XX on PS2 was a bad game. I'm absolutely ADORING the plot and characters so far!

I've been playing a ridiculous game off stream by the by:
Fida Puti Samurai is hands down one of the more addicting games I've played this year. It's a great homage to boomer shooters and with each run being randomized has a lot of replayability!
Highly recommend for a silly roguelite experience!
