If you want to shit your pants at how that game ended, then you go right ahead.

I am over here, smoking a big cigar, safe in the knowledge that I am ready to MARCH INTO THE GATES OF HELL for Mikel Arteta

The last thing I want is us Arsenal fans acting like we lost. So many of my friends are downers rn I get City losing puts some distance between us but we just have to keep doing our job and we’ll win. It’s in our hands not theirs.

Arsenal beat City to end their winning run. City will still win the title, but Arsenal restricted the best attack in the country to one shot on target and nothing in the second half.

Superb performance and result. Second place in their own hands

For all the talk about lack of goals. We’ve now scored the same as City (albeit they yet have to play).

I watched the entire second half on mute. Only to turn it up at the last minute 🥳

I think Ødegaard played well, in my opinion he was better in the second half. I think every forward bar Saka (maybe Trossard too) needs to sharpen up. Against Wolves and now Everton, I felt like Saka was at the creators’ end but nobody was finishing. So another good performance without G/A for him.

I said I don’t care how we get the 3 points. But I think we were really bad that I do care now. The period before conceding that goal was horrible

What I want to know is after this game who will be our back four for the midweek game? I really want to give everyone a rest.

Whatever, proud of the players. This was a physically tough game considering the circumstances.

Merino defo my MoTM

I think Timber CB is the best case for him in terms of intensity. But it could mean that White has to play a full 90. We could see Skelly on for White if he still needs easing in.

I need a gif of Gabriel pulling and pushing Ødegaard during the second goal celebration 🤣🤣🤣

Had an Arsenal friend say he’d like to concede against Sunderland so that if we do eventually concede to Spurs, Bayern or Chelsea, it won’t be a shock. I won’t have it tho, I’d rather go with the confidence and narrative that we are difficult to score against.

Credit should also go to Arteta for making the subs that somewhat guaranteed the win.

Spending the bank holiday weekend in London. This will be my last (hopefully only for now!) game at the Emirates before I head back home for Christmas.

It’s going to be a tough game against Palace at home, I’ll be praying for 3 points!

I see people are blaming tourists and ballot winners for the lack of atmosphere at the Emirates again......

Not a dig at Rice, but Zubimendi brings the same calmness to the midfield that Raya did for me when he replaced Ramsdale. I think Odegaard and Eze should be our midfield with Eze LW. Rice Zubi and Ø should be our 3. More control that way imo

I just read that a cyber attack has hurt Asahi’s supply chain. I wonder what this means for the beer at the Emirates 🤔

Odegaard rightly deserved MoTM. But I hope people are also noticing Zudimendi’s performance.

Off to London for the Olympiacos game today. Second time ever going to the Emirates and the first time watching a competitive game. Any opportunity to watch the Arsenal at the Emirates will always feel unreal to me.

I like a DM who scores like that. I also like that it was Gabriel who had the last laugh.

The commentator was so happy that VAR had reason to overturn the penalty and then is also happy to criticise Arsenal for anything at all. I really need a mute commentator options while watching games.

I think the Steelers are accommodated into a hotel near me. Lot of police escort and their fans around here. I don’t watch NFL but it feels like the local team now haha
