Mom was one of 7. I have an uncle who literally ran away to join the circus. He came back and finished high school.
Mom used to hide in the upstairs closet & smoke cigarettes. Nan & Pop had permanent oil stains on their kitchen ceiling cuz kids once made a game of throwing lunchmeat on the ceiling.
