Understand the his system=oligarchy. We broke the system with ACA, Medicaid, Social Security, Medicare, etc. So yes they are upset now, because we showed them that it didn't have to be this way.

Don't be obtuse about this. Trump wants more assets, and Venezuela has oil. His negotiating technique is mafia-level threats. He hopes to emerge from this with an exclusive right to their oil.

I'm not sure it matters that much whether he is the evil genius or the evil stoolpigeon.

Most on the right belong to the cult because they get aroused by feeling like they are getting the best of members in the "other" camp. Combating them online is counter-productive. It's like handing a drink to an alcoholic. Get off Twitter if you imagine you are combating the right there.

The point of the post isn't that the headline is inaccurate. The point is about what WaPo is choosing to write about. If Biden were president they would be writing an accurate article about how many people suffer with rising prices rather than an accurate article about the downside to deflation.

The real motivation is that once I have the DVD in my house, no corporation can block me from watching it. Streaming is great, but don't fall into the trap that the content you see will be available an hour from now.

You/we do not have the power or right to manipulate these people into being better people. You need to leave X. When you do, suddenly their behavior is no longer a problem for you/us to solve.
