Also been thinking more about alternatives to Notion and Trello... I think I'm this close to just developing my own with how much AI has been shoved into them, as well, but the main thing probably stopping me is giving myself another job outside of work!

Was hoping to be moving around now, but who knew it was so hard to mortgage a flat above a restaurant!

Have looked at a lot of mini PCs already, and almost any would likely be fine with how powerful small tech is now, so I reckon soon I'll take the plunge and buy one plus a touch monitor to start.

Once our move is sorted, I may look some more into a local NAS setup or something for storage.

I want to get away from Alexa for the smart home stuff side, too, so it could be a good opportunity to stretch the possibilities of a connected mini PC setup. 🤔

Makes me think about trying to get away from Google, too... use Workspace at the moment for hosting my email (previously used a much cheaper service, but downtime/access became an issue) and storage primarily.

Just too much AI being put in, with cost increases due to those "features" I won't use.

I've thought about it a tiny bit too recently, might need to check how easy it is to get Windows games/apps to run these days without much hassle involved.
