That Nordas second goal was a proper poacher’s instinct.

I’m still of the mind that he needs to show more out of possession for JW but let’s hope he can do that because he gets goals.

Very, very good 45 min. Hard to tell the level given that this is very much Exeter’s B team (as it’s ours), but Nordas, Alli and Nelson all making a statement. Loving Nelson a little deeper too.

Walters looks lively again. Johnson looks like he’s been in the gym for the last 10 months.
That’s a youthful team. Seven of the eleven are 23 and under.

He scores when he wants, he scores when he wants, Amazon Prime’s biggest customer, he scores when he wants.
Granted it’s the pizza paint cup but Nordas has been more involved in the opening 10 min of this game than Yates was in 95min on Saturday.

Speaks very well and seems like the right sort of character for Luton. Has been a breath of fresh air since coming into the side.

Would love to see him in the defensive center mid role to give Sav a break.

Having watched it back, we were a lot better than the general discourse had me believe. Save for the opening 10min to each half, we were the team in control and limited them to not very much. That said, the lack of creativity once again meant that the in-game control lead to very little actual…
If you can’t win, don’t lose.

Couldn’t watch the game as I’m stuck up a mountain for Thanksgiving weekend. Will watch it back tomorrow but it sounds like we were poor but found a way not to lose and that is at least something.

Sound / look familiar, Hatters? 😂

Blackpool, Forest Green and now Bolton.

Kodua is scoring some big goals and really taking responsibility beyond his 21 years.

A few of the senior pros could take a look at this kid and step their game up.

Thierry Henry talking about exactly this on Paramount’s Champions League coverage.

Seems like it’s not just a third tier issue.
Big talk out here in the US of QB footwork. Someone needs to help Mengi out with his footwork when jockeying back in that RCB position as he’s always all over the place. Body shape twisted and unable to shift weight to react to the attacker. A real mess.

We earned that. Not pretty but we showed guts to hold on.

More importantly, the first win of the league season where we’ve conceded. Going on to get the win after being pegged back is an important psychological marker.

Let’s please, please, please build on this!
That is Luton Town football. Hustle, bustle and effort!

Stupid fucking foul to give away and then Keeley takes a needless gamble.

Architects of our own downfall again.
So many silly errors. Lazy passes. Poor touches. Dumb tackles. Missing leadership all over the place.

Can we PLEASE learn how to jockey players. Saville gives the guy 5 bloody yards to run into.

Mixture of Thanksgiving work week craziness and an overwhelming feeling of disconnect after Saturday means I completely forgot about today’s game. I preferred it that way.

Absolute embarrassment, the lot of them. Haven’t felt this ashamed of a Luton team since that home Hyde defeat back in 2012.

Wilshere and Powell need to be into them now until Jan. Each and everyone should be playing for their job.

This league is wide open and there for the taking if we can get our shit together.

A frustrating watch and another learning lesson for JW.

Rotherham came and did a job. The fact that they were content for the 0-0 and rarely looked like they cared about getting a goal I suppose is testament to our improvements. Earlier in the season teams were coming for all three points.

But..

Patience, sure, but I’m not sure this formation is working for us right now.

Would be tempted to go to a back four and add a man in midfield to allow Wells and Yates to hold their back line a little more.
November 15, 2025 at 3:52 PM
Really not sure what Yates is offering in this game currently. Seems to be getting in the way of our attacks with the wrong run rather than adding anything.
November 15, 2025 at 3:36 PM
This is how I’d line us up tomorrow. Whilst I’d be tempted to go to a 4ATB and maybe start another striker against a Rotherham side allergic to possession, this shape is fluid enough to push Jones & Bramall up as high as possible, whilst keep coverage from any counters with Odoffin & Walsh.

It…
