When I'm offered a solution that I've already tried it kinda just makes dealing with my feelings harder. It's not an easy thing to explain, but maybe it's worth being upfront about? "I just want to vent, I'm not looking for solutions, I got this." I'm realizing the irony of giving advice here (2/2)

I'm really sorry you're going through a hard time, but I just wanted to pinch in because this is something I relate to a lot. More people need to realize that sometimes people just need to vent, they're not looking for solutions, they just need to let extra steam loose before they explode. (1/2)
