This is a benign microcosm of a macro problem and an overarching societal problem of removing agency and consent because getting consent is inconvenient or expensive. If a business model relies on treading on the rights of others...maybe it's not a valid model. (see also, gig economy)

That we have locked in as a society with mayo-mustard-ketchup as the default condiments is an indictment TBH. I can go to the local taqueria and have a half dozen or more salsa options for tortilla chips and burger places provide...ketchup??

If we HAVE to find an inch of common ground, it's pretty good. Getting fish and chips with a single plastic thimble of tartar sauce???
