It was a good distraction for us to be surrounded by family, sharing stories, laughing, and enjoying delicious food.

And, of course, through tear-filled eyes, I didn’t realize that I chose a lock-screenshot of him so here’s another photo of our sweet boy.

Sadly, today we had to say goodbye to our 17 year after a weekend where his body quickly declined.

We are heartbroken but thankful for every moment we’ve had with him. 💔

He’s resting peacefully now and out of pain. 🐈‍⬛
