Hello! I've been once again silent around here, but I've also been VERY busy. One of the reasons is the Folktale Week that I finally took part in on Instagram.
Now that the challenge is over, I will post it all at once here as well. I wrote my own story, named: The Old Wolf and the Old Forest 😊

Very recently I finished this commission of a little sea otter for the daughter of a friend. This friend had already commissioned me a little lion for her first son. They now both have their totem animal 😊
And I really loved to paint the colourful background leaves in particular !

Just finished this little fairy for a challenge 😊 The rules were to be inclusive and add a particularity to the fairy, and to associate it with a spring flower or plant.
I went with a fairy with albinism, awakening the scilla luciliae, to match the purple hues of her eyes ☺️

A few years ago, I did a series of illustrations about the four elements.
I turned water into ice, but I guess it still suits the theme 😊❄️

Steps 4 to 7 !
A screenshot of patterns showing in the program Inkscape, with the caption: STEP 4. I decided which patterns I would go with. I then have to draw them on a vector program. A screenshot of the scan of the raccoon painting in the program Photoshop, with the caption: STEP 5. After scanning the illustration, it's time for editing. I also integrate the patterns during this step. A screenshot of a shape drawn in the program Inkscape, with the caption: STEP 6. I had previously scanned the final drawing before starting on the painting. That way I could also draw the final shape of the bookmark on the vector program. That will be used during the cutting step. A screenshot of all the painting put together on a layout, with the caption: STEP 7. After repeating all these steps for the two other animals, it is time to prepare the printing files. I have to make sure that both sides are perfectly reflecting, in order for the cutting to succeed.
