Thank you KOMO for the opportunity to talk about the West Coast Health Alliance, in response to a lack of reliability from RFK Jr. and federal agencies.

Infectious diseases & health threats respond to objective science, not political/ideological bias.

Wow! Just made it worse!

Nurses & docs would never get away with saying this to a patient that can’t afford a treatment or diagnostic test. Humans do die at some point, but they shouldn’t die because of your reckless vote in the Senate.

The WA State Nurses Assn will lead w/ courage & devotion to our patients & practice.

🚨Today, @wsna.bsky.social has joined eight other plaintiffs in a lawsuit against federal health agencies seeking restoration of databases & other resources pulled from those agencies’ websites.

We must be courageous & steadfast in our efforts to protect our patients & profession

Proud to represent nurses & speak to tens of thousands of activists @ the Seattle #HandsOff. This administration will try to flood the zone with chaos & cruelty, but we—nurses, healthcare workers, & allies—are here to place sandbags around our institutions & our patients. We will protect them.

There is a difference between those that make reckless policy decisions, like cutting Medicaid, & those of us in the trenches doing the work.

When I see a patient, I am accountable for the care I provide. Lawmakers promoting these cuts should consider the same level of accountability.
