Oh yeah the British version has gotten almost cruel in recent years with an intent to make it hard for bakers—Canada still lets them shine. It took a few seasons for the competitors to create work as impressive as the British but it feels like they’re there now

I love that unlike some other Canadian versions of international shows, it hasn’t given up or smoothed over the Canadian aspects of it
