Platinum Trophy 194: Call Of Duty Modern Warfare

Im not a huge fan of the series (I don't play much online games) but this retelling was an like an immersive action movie that kept me engaged for chapter to chapter. And despite being released in 2019 the graphics were still superperb.

Platinum Trophy 193:
Dragon Ball FighterZ

After weekly logins for points, I finally unlocked the 20,000,000 zeni points trophy for blistering time of 3 year and 4 months for completion

Platinum Trophy 192: The Beast Within

A fun conspiracy indie horror game that was great until the ending. I like the direction the story implied it was heading before the obvious reveal

Jinjer playing the SWG3 in Glasgow last night. Great to finally see them as a headliner. The crowd went nuts from the get go

Platinum Trophy 191: Oxide Room 104.
An intriguing indie horror game that was ultimately disappointing due to some atrocious voice acting and lack of challenge. At least it was cheap.

Went for a Japanese lunch via Raku in Leith, very filling and comforting

Last night I watched the John Wick spin off; Ballerina.
It did leave me feeling like I'd rather be watching the baba again himself but there was some cool set pieces by the end, particularly the flame thrower battle

Platinum Trophy 190:
In Sound Mind
A fun wee indie game about delving into the troubled psyche of a therapists patients. Reminds me a little of pyschonaughts

Accepted a new job today and now I'm heading to Glasgow for my 1st gig of 2026. Definitely gonna be suffering tomorrow 😅

Platinum Trophy 189: Forgive Me Father
A frantic HP Lovecraft inspired boomer shooter with a comic strip aesthetic. Quite fast and fun gameplay that can get overwhelming at times.

Platinum Trophy 188: Daymare 1998
A loving tribute to resident evil (particularly 2) but quite rough round the edges. I ended up playing through this 4 times due to various glitches, thankfully its a short game.

Made a wee croque madame for brunch today, never managed to have one in Paris so hopefully it had an authentic taste

Just back home atmdter catching Marty Supreme at the cinema. I went in knowing that it's about ping pong and has a buzz about it. Didn't expect 2 hours of absolute chaos.

A new Kreator album (and a new Hellripper single) out today, makes me happy 😊

Watched The Life Of Chuck, and expected to be emotionally wrought by the end if it. But it left me feeling nothing...
I enjoyed the initial scenario up of the world ending and also got a kick out of spotting the horror alumni cast

First Platinum Trophy of 2026: Gravity Rush Remastered.
Decided to do a little clean up and finished a game I started 8 years ago but never picked up again

Watching BBC's The Traitors and the 'secret' traitor gimmick has already been discarded after 3 episodes, makes me wonder why bother with it at all

Back home from Paris to celebrate the new year.
It was nice to see it again in a festive coat despite the chill.

Platinum Trophy 186 (and the last of 2025) via Alisa on the PS5.
A fun & modern love letter to early survival horror games
December 28, 2025 at 12:48 PM
Now watching a new Korean film The Great Flood, going in completely blind.
Let's just say that 40 mins in, it felt like it was getting close to finishing depsite having an hour left to go. Then the plot takes a really unexpected turn

Got myself an early Xmas pressie with tickets to see Creeper at the Cat House next year 😁
December 15, 2025 at 10:25 AM
Now watching Tornado from the director of Slow West. So, I'm expecting a lot of tension and dark humour
December 11, 2025 at 3:38 PM
My first ever Orange Goblin show on their last ever tour... wish I'd gotten into them sooner as they were great live. The singer Ben Ward especially seemed to lap up commanding the audience and not make the show too introspective

Back home after making a trip down south to see Sabaton in Manchester.
It was a hell of a fun show
