Ever use Reddit? That has a huge music community in every genre you can think of. It’s way bigger and older than BlueSky. I use that too. Good bass guitar and car communities. Also very little censorship

The important part is use the hashtags on all your posts. For example #bluesguitarist #womanguitarist #bluesmusic #femalebluesguitarist #bluesguitarplayer
Etc…. Putting those also in the search will help you find other people with your interests

Obviously this is not as big as facebook, it’s still a growing community. Lots have migrated from X/Twitter. Mention on Facebook and Threads you are here and I am sure you’ll pickup followers here.

Just post what want, anything! Very little censorship here. Hashtags work like other apps. I’m a naturist, so my posts include that subject matter and photos. Thus the adult labels on some posts.
