like, dont get me wrong i adore taking the lore and crafting with it, but it's like you said, it's literally the perfect medium for SHOWING. we just get a lot of telling instead, either in Eorzea Encyclopedia or god forbid a Yoshi-P interview 😭

i was actually gonna mention Keepers too (ran out of space lol) but they also have it bad
they exist in the world to some capacity, but you cant go to a spot in the Shroud and say "here's where Keepers live" it's nebulously implied (which i guess it the point?) but idk it doesnt feel satisfying?

facts. i'd love if they went back and expanded more on Othard. theres so much implied lore, but i wanna SEE it for real. SB being 2 regions essentially made it such that neither feels fleshed out enough

and i swear to god if we go to Meracydia next expac for them to do the same im gonna kermit

it's the way I just made up a shit ton of lore for the Ura tribe bc the only way to see them in game is in a FATE in the north of the map, and also they attack you, bc of course. SIGHHH

like maybe im just greedy bc i suppose we could have it as bad as Viera do currently (yikes) but still

we're going to tell the players about ALL these tribes on the Azim Steppe, but really you only meet Xaela from maybe ~10 tribes at best? and the Steppe itself is practically empty so you'll just have to use your imagination. why even have the lore then 😭😭
